USA – FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – PANC Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport Adacel Systems, Inc. (“ASI”) produces simulation and training systems for commercial, defense and export markets. ASI offers a comprehensive range of fully scalable customizable simulation systems from desktop trainer to complete 360-degree room-sized Air Traffic Control tower environments. We provide professional ATC training simulation systems for governments, universities and civilian air traffic control agencies worldwide. The position of Field Service Representative will work in an office environment with minimal direct Adacel supervision and work closely with FAA personnel and Raytheon ATCOTS employees. The FAA site manager will be the direct supervisor directing day to day activities for this position. The Field Service Representative (“FSR”) reports to the Lead, Field Service Representative. Field Service Representative Responsibilities • Create Air Traffic Control training scenarios • Provide timely response to customer operational use requirements • Provide input on system enhancements • Conduct testing to resolve application problems and support simulator installations • Troubleshoot problems with simulator • Report problems and work with the Service Center to resolve Service Requests • Perform preventive maintenance activities • Track system usage • Assist with the system while training is being conducted • Promote Adacel’s goals as they pertain to the customer • Teach the customer how to best utilize the system • Other duties as assigned Requirements • Experience in an air traffic control environment preferred • Training experience, simulator usage and desktop software experience are assets • Knowledge of computer hardware • Working knowledge of the windows operating environment • Excellent customer-relations skills • Leadership, interpersonal and strong communication skills • Attention to detail • Willing to travel on an occasional basis • Currently has or is able to obtain a U.S. passport • Must be able to pass a FAA background check If you are looking for an exciting, progressive company that offers challenges, a friendly and casual work environment, competitive salaries, excellent (health, dental, short and long term disability, life insurance, 401K) plans, and much more, please send your resume to careersusa@adacel.com.
