The Masset Airport is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join its staff as an Airport Operations Specialist (AOS).  Acting under the direction of the Operations Manager, the AOS shall be responsible for providing day to day operational assistance in order to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the airport in accordance with the Airport Operations Manual and its associated manuals.  We are looking for an individual who works well with minimal supervision, is a motivated hard worker, and is willing to learn and contribute to the team.  This is a year-round position, requiring some shift work, including evenings, weekends, and call outs when needed.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Responsible for servicing all type of aircraft with fuel;  Monitoring the safe movement of passengers and vehicles while airside;  Assist with maintenance services for airport grounds, systems, equipment, and vehicles;  Perform airfield, terminal, groundside, and fuel inspections and complete required documentation;  Complete computer and paper based forms and reports as required;  Perform other assigned or related duties.  KEY QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED equivalent;  A valid BC Drivers Licence or equivalent;  Strong work ethic with a high level of initiative and enthusiasm;  The ability to work both collaboratively and independently;  A strong focus on customer service;  The ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.  The Airport will provide required training to the right candidate to meet the standards.  All relevant education and experience will be considered when evaluating candidates.  We would like to thank all who apply, but only those considered for an interview will be contacted.  If interested, please submit your resume and 3 professional references by email to: airportmanager@czmt.ca  Closing date: March 31st 2017
