Airport Operations Class 21

Mark Coates is the Senior Manager of the Airport Operations at the Port of Seattle, and is also a member of the Airport Operations Program Advisory Committee (PAC).  Last week, Airport Operations Class 21 benefited from this relationship through an opportunity to see behind the scenes at Seattle Airport.  

As the 10th busiest US airport, serving over 42 million passengers, Seattle airport is an example of an airport exceeding regulatory requirements and customer expectation. Experiences like this field trip help students apply classroom learning in a real-world setting, adding to their body aviation knowledge.
