Congratulations to Alex Oliphant, Class 8 Airport Operations graduate, winner of the Pat Plouffe Memorial award, and new casual AOO with the Vancouver International Airport Authority (YVR). Alex plans to maintain his current position at Pacific Coastal Airlines while he continues to build his airport experience in the Airport Operations department. It sounds like a lot to juggle, but as Alex says, "a passion for aviation combined with knowledge and skills developed at BCIT has given me the opportunity to further my career goals."We are sure that Alex will have a lot of great support from co-workers who have graduated from the program in previous years and made successful transitions into airport operations at YVR.
