Canadian Aviation Museum

Flight Operations Class 10 was able to take advantage of a private tour of the Canadian Museum of Flight at the Langley airport on the morning of Tuesday July 12.  Two museum volunteers, Terry and Matt spent about two hours walking the class through a chronologial tour of the history of Canadian Aviation, with an emphasis on the development of aircraft and the roles played by some of our greatest aviators.  The Sopwith Camel and the DC3 were among the many models and working aircraft students had a special opportunity to check out.  The opportunity for students to hear the stories, touch the aircraft and ask questions of the expert docents was a valuable experience.
