Job Description:
To complement our operations centre in Christchurch, New Zealand, you will assist, and provide timezone support to our customers worldwide.Working with the Operations staff at our other locations, you will be responsible for the daily management of customer operational requirements, for flights assigned to this location.

The job includes:
- International Flight Planning for our Airline, Private, Military and Corporate customers
- Trip Planning for Business Jets and Charter flights - choosing the best ATC routes, tech stops, and handlers
- Organizing Ground Handling, Fuel, and ad-hoc services at Airports around the world.
- Providing Route Reviews based on ATC procedures, Overflight Permit requirements, Weather, and local regulatory issues.
- Direct interaction with our Customers - Flight Crew, Flight Followers, Airline Operations and Dispatch Departments
- Liaison with ATC, Aviation Authorities, Ground Handlers

You will:
- Have solid experience in International Flight Operations, including computer based Flight Planning.
- Acceptable previous experience may include Airline flight operations, Corporate flight operations, international trip or flight planning, or similar.
- Enjoy working in the field of International Aviation, bring a strong work ethic, and professional attitude.
- Appreciate the need for confidentiality for information-sensitive corporate, VIP or military flights.
- Have an impressive level of attention to detail in your work
- Be excellent at working with other team members under pressure, to achieve the best result for the customer, and yourself.
- Have a very good grasp of World Geography, and understanding of how different cultures and customs can affect International Flight Operations.
- Live in Toronto and ability to work occasional unsociable hours: evenings, early mornings, weekends.

Advantageous:
- A second language - Spanish, Russian, Chinese
- Proficiency with Navtech Flight Planning system, AFTN, SITA, Aviation Weather applications
