8th Annual CHC Safety & Quality Summit

The 8th Annual CHC Safety and Quality Summit is taking place March 26-28, 2012 in Vancouver, BC with the theme “Improving Safety Culture through Talent, Training and Trust”. Only four weeks remain before aviation leaders land in Vancouver for the 2012 CHC Safety & Quality Summit.  Three classes of Aviation Operations students (two Airport Operations and one Airline & Flight Operations) will be attending the entire event as volunteers and delegates. The annual summit is an excellent opportunity for students to meet industry representatives with a focus on aviation safety.

Sessions Open for Registration
This year’s theme: “Improving Safety Culture Through Talent, Training and Trust.” is developed through over 40 sessions that are now open for registration.  All alumni and industry partners are encouraged to register now!

Pre/Post Summit Courses
In addition to registering for sessions during the three-day conference, we would also like to draw your attention to pre and post courses available as a part of this annual, nonprofit Summit.

Available courses include:
• Helicopter Accident Investigation (USC) – Four days, pre Summit ($1999 plus tax).
• HFACS/HFIX workshop – Two days, pre Summit ($1250 plus tax)
• BSI Internal Auditor– Three days ($950 plus tax) and one day Lead Auditor add-on module, post Summit ($350 plus tax )

Please note that the courses listed above ore open to everyone and are not restricted to Summit participants.

Hotel
This year’s summit will be held at the Westin Bayshore Resort & Marina in Vancouver during March 26 – 28.  If attending, Please be sure to book your room by March 2nd to receive the Summit conference rate of $173 CDN, plus tax.
