Canadian North is currently recruiting a Pricing Analyst in the Commercial Services Department in Calgary. (Competition Number PA0212)

Qualifications:
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Ability to prioritize, especially under tight deadlines
• Microsoft Office suite
• Minimum 5 years airline or travel agency experience
• Experience and knowledge of airline fares, pricing and ticketing processes
• Knowledge of coding public, private and negotiated fares in Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCo) considered an asset
• Sabre My Fares experience considered an asset
• Proficiency in Sabre reservations and pricing applications
• Additional training will be provided to the successful candidate

Responsibilities:
• Daily analysis of competitive pricing and subsequent filing of fares in the ATPCO fare filing system
• Ensure Canadian North is competitive in the marketplace by responding to competitive pricing actions efficiently and effectively
• Load public, private and corporate fares into ATPCo and Sabre Myfares for distribution to web, call centre and GDS systems
• Assist with the maintenance and testing of the fares management system
• Provide pricing intelligence to revenue management and inventory departments
• Troubleshoot pricing concerns with sales managers and external travel agencies
• Work closely with Revenue Analysts to implement tactical pricing initiatives
• Prepare pricing and advertising information for timely distribution to other departments including the Call Centre, Web and Advertising groups
• Communicate new pricing initiatives throughout the company.
• Maintain accurate records of all pricing activity
• Provide backup coverage to Inventory coordinator when required
