The Vancouver Airport Authority has an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President, Marketing & Business Development and the Vice President, Strategic Planning & Legal Services and Corporate Secretary.  The successful candidate enjoys autonomy and the challenge of using a diverse range of administrative skills.

    Key responsibilities include: 
·         Supporting both the Senior Vice President, Marketing & Business Development and        the Vice President, Strategic Planning & Legal Services and Corporate Secretary
·         Acting independently with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, judgment and discretion
·         Maintaining calendars, including scheduling and/or rescheduling appointments
·         Managing email and regular mail
·         Preparing correspondence, reports, presentations and spreadsheets
·         Making travel arrangements
·         Keeping executives apprised of deadlines and action items
·         Providing relevant material prior to all meetings
·         Coordinating and assembling relevant information for Board and executive meetings
·         Ensuring documents for signature are processed in a timely manner
·         Maintaining files
·         Administering various financial functions (e.g., monthly budget forecasts, invoices, expense claims and purchase orders)

    Key qualifications include:
·         Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated administrative support experience at the executive level
·         Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
·         Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a changing environment
·         Proven ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion
·         Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
·         Adept at problem solving, using initiative and good judgment
·         Ability to deal with various stakeholders ranging from colleagues and business partners,
           Board members and government officials
·         Solid MS Office skills in order to prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and     presentations, as well as, manage a large volume of email
·         Team player with a willingness to assist other Executive Assistants during peak periods, as well as, cover for them during absences
