EFC is seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable aviation professional to be our FBO Manager at our high volume Base located in Edmonton. The FBO Manager will be responsible for the overall day to day, safe, efficient and effective operations and management of our FBO & Industrial Charter Terminal Facility.

Key Accountabilities

Reporting to corporate headquarters in Calgary, manage all aspects of the EFC’s YEG Base operations including; FBO, corporate, fuel sales, tank farm, hangar tenant(s), facilities and Industrial Charter Terminal customer needs.
•Provide oversight and leadership to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Base and meet all regulatory and legislative requirements and standards are met.
•Ensure sufficient levels of staffing, provide supervision and direction for Base staff
•Prepare and manage budgets, control expenditures, work within the parameters of approved budgets.
•Coordinate Base security requirements, addressing issues as they arise and providing satisfactory resolution.
•Develop and maintain detailed and up to date Base activity reports & records.
•Develop and implement plans for the overall promotion and marketing of EFC and the YEG Base for economic development purposes.
•Establish and maintain proper procedures and guidelines for safety, hazards concerns and emergency situations.
•Ensure aircraft movement and facility areas are maintained in accordance to stated regulations and standards.
•Oversee and provide support for fuel sales, ground operations, providing records of sales, and ensuring maintained supply.
•Ensure FBO is properly maintained in all weather conditions, and all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
•Establish and maintain working relationships with all tenants, leaseholders, community members and other key stakeholders.
•Act as an ambassador for the FBO attending to functions as required.
•Efficiently and effectively respond to or direct to the appropriate person, all public inquires and concerns.

Qualifications and Experience
Post-secondary education, desired certificate or degree in Business, Business Administration, Aviation Management or other related field and/or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum 5 years' of increasing level of supervisory and management experience at an FBO or in aviation management.
· Demonstrated management and leadership skills and capabilities.
· Highly developed understanding of industry, industry regulations, standards and best practices.
· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to work with competing priorities and to strict deadlines.
· Demonstrated computer proficiency with multiple software applications.
· Developed marketing, accounting and budgeting skills and experience.
