SUMMARY: Answer in-coming calls in a courteous manner to a ssist customers with their travel service requirements and needs by entering data into the computer database. Meet c lients at designated arrival and/or departure area to ensure their travel arrangements are handled as scheduled.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responsible for answering inbound calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Must be knowledgeable and explain all services offered.
  • Enter customer billing information, process accurate and timely orders into computer system.
  • Resolve issues or problems in a timely professional manner.
  • Process schedule changes / cancellations and handle customer complaints.
  • Provide additional information to the Manager as needed.
  • Ensure Customer needs are attended to at all times, must think ‘out of the box’.
  • Plan to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
  • Competence to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.
  • Familiarity of administrative and systems such as word processing, managing files and records.
  • Handle other duties as needed by the Manager.
BACKGROUND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must posses a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a minimum two years of sales and customer service experience or relevant job experience.
  • Computer skills are required.
  • Preferred knowledge of or understand Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance requirements.
  • Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a call center and/or experience working with customers on the phone.
  • Must present a professional businesslike image, have a high work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift up to 23 kgs.
  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
LOCATION/SPECIFIC WORKING HOURS:
Vancouver International Airport.
Specific shifts to be determined.
This job requires a lot of sitting and walking.
