ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for answering inbound calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Must be knowledgeable and explain all services offered.
- Enter customer billing information, process accurate and timely orders into computer system.
- Resolve issues or problems in a timely professional manner.
- Process schedule changes / cancellations and handle customer complaints.
- Provide additional information to the Manager as needed.
- Ensure Customer needs are attended to at all times, must think ‘out of the box’.
- Plan to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
- Identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
- Competence to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.
- Familiarity of administrative and systems such as word processing, managing files and records.
- Handle other duties as needed by the Manager.
BACKGROUND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must posses a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a minimum two years of sales and customer service experience or relevant job experience.
- Computer skills are required.
- Preferred knowledge of or understand Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a call center and/or experience working with customers on the phone.
- Must present a professional businesslike image, have a high work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Fluency in a foreign language is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 23 kgs.
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
LOCATION/SPECIFIC WORKING HOURS:
Vancouver International Airport.
Specific shifts to be determined.
This job requires a lot of sitting and walking.
