New Posting - CHC, Commercial Officer

Under the guidance of the Commercial Program Manager, the Commercial Officer will prepare Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and Component commercial proposals in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and complete commercial proposals for MRO and Components
  • Clarify Statement of Work (SOW) and define the support concept for each bid
  • Verify capabilities, certifications, registrations and any additional licensed restrictions
  • Complete Commercial proposals for bids using current templates
  • Verify Shop Capacity and/or Exchange Availability
  • Interface with logistics to obtain capital costs, recommended consignment stock list, and Direct Maintenance Cost (DMC)
  • Assist with Annual Update of standard price lists
  • Compile commercial proposals using templates containing the most up to date inclusion/exclusions and terms & conditions
  • Responsible for obtaining relevant signatures on final contracts
  • Maintain proper revision control on all necessary documents
  • Review and obtain approval on MRO transactional commercial proposals
  • Maintain commercial proposal & supporting documents in proposal contract database (Customer Relationship Management)
  • Responsible for contract administration including; saving, filing, and uploading final contract details
  • International travel may be required.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, or equivalent education, training and experience
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience
  • Contract and legal experience an asset
  • Commercial experience an asset
  • Ability to balance and identify priorities in daily work
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with contract management systems and applicable computer tools
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications
