The leader in aircraft ground handling eleven years in a row, Swissport YYZ currently handles approx 100 flights for major airlines in Toronto everyday. As a result of our continuing growth we are searching for a Ramp Supervisor.
Role: Manage the daily ground operations, assisting all employees. Positively contributing to the profitability of the operation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and control all staff assignments, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain and improve customer and company safety and quality standards
- Maintain good relations with customers and airport authorities
- Hold daily briefings with all employees
- Provide support to all employees
- Coach and train all employees to effectively improve operations
- Accountable for daily operations
- Keeping the daily flight records accurate to ensure proper billing
- Reporting and investigation of of all incidents.
- Adhere to all government and airport authority regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years ramp experience, preferrably as a supervisor
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Internal and external customer relations skills
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Valid unrestricted Provincial Drivers' License
- Must obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance and Airport DA
