Bravo Corp is currently recruiting a Flight Follower/Dispatcher (closing June 07, 2013)
Job Description: Full-Time Position in Thunder Bay
The Flight Follower / Dispatcher is responsible for operational pre-flight preparation and computerized flight watch for all company aircraft throughout the company system. The Fight Follower / Dispatcher will maintain daily records of upcoming, in progress, and completed flights. They will advise crew of daily flight assignments, and communicate operational information between the customer and flight crew.
The schedule is alternating day and night 12 hours shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have excellent multi-tasking and problem solving skills, as well as strong attention to detail. Excellent communication, customer service skills and the ability to adapt and deal with change is essential. Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of Word and Excel are required. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and possess a positive attitude towards teamwork. Ability to work independently and flexibility in availability are important. Previous experience working in a government regulated field is also an asset. Successful candidate must be able to begin work immediately.
For Pilot Applicants:
Air Bravo Corp does accept pilot candidates for the Flight Follower position. An applicant applying with the intent of progressing to the flight line should have:
• Commercial Pilots Licence
• Group 3 Instrument Rating (or the ability to obtain such a rating)
• Minimum 500 total time
• Cat 1 Medical
Typical progression from Dispatch to the flight line is 6 months to a year.
