New Posting - Avmax

Avmax Aviation Services Inc. has an immediate opening for a Training Coordinator for our Hangar 3 location.  Term: 12 Months (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Reporting to the Director of Quality & Safety, specific duties associated with this role include:
•Schedule all in-house and out-of-house training for Avmax employees – including hospitality, travel and other arrangements
•Create and maintain employee training files
•Create and maintain Avmax training manuals
•Maintain training syllabuses, teaching guides and tools
•Provide a single point of contact for training at Avmax
•Confer with managers, employees and/or customers to determine training needs
•Assign instructors to conduct training
•Evaluate training packages, including outline, text and handouts written by instructors to ensure format consistency
•Monitor budget to ensure training costs do not exceed allocated funds
•Attend meetings and seminars to obtain information useful to training personnel
•Monitor instructors during professional development to evaluate performance
•Write budget report list – training cost, instructors’ wages, equipment costs etc.

•Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization
•Possesses strong fundamental aircraft knowledge
•Demonstrates ability to motivate employees
•Shows exceptional organizational skills
•Builds quality capability and responsiveness for Avmax Group Inc.
•3 – 5 years’ experience in the field
