Blackcomb Aviation is the Pacific Northwest's leading aviation Company. We are a full service, multi-fleet aviation Company with aircraft charters and maintenance services in rotary wing and fixed wing divisions. We have bases in Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, Sechelt and Lillooet. We currently have a full time Dispatch/Reception position available at our Vancouver, YVR South Terminal location.

This position is responsible for the logistical planning of trips as well as involvement in the day to day running of the aviation operation, particularly reception, face to face customer contact and assistance in marketing initiatives.

General Duties will include:
Customer liaison and charter itineraries;
Logistical planning for confirmed trips including organizing and scheduling crew;
Handling all crew travel specifics such as accommodation, transportation and catering;
Documentation control including post-flight data entry, scheduling, flight operations clerical support, development and monitoring of electronic data bases;
Dispatch duties;
General customer service duties and office duties.

Qualifications
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has some experience in the aviation industry and is looking to learn more and build on their current aviation skills. This position requires a self starter with a great deal of initiative and has the ability to multi-task in an environment where time may be a crucial variable. You must have permanent residency in Canada or a current Canadian work visa.

Other qualifications include:
Minimum of 1-2 years of aviation work experience;
Firm knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word programs;
Excellent interpersonal skills and superior customer service skills;
Ability to multi-task and shift focus quickly;
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Energetic and warm personality.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday, however, flexibility with time is important as there will be occasional weekday overtime and possible weekend work.
