Summit Air is seeking an experienced Dispatcher for our Yellowknife location. The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of Summit flights are in accordance with company procedures, including planning and monitoring of pre/post/flight phases. This role oversees the scheduling and dispatching of all Summit aircraft.

Responsibilities
•Ensure compliance with company and Transport Canada regulations
•Check flight plans for completeness and accuracy
•Review and maintain flight logs and other reports
•Brief flight crews prior to departure and provide pilots with information essential to aviation safety
•Contact crew prior to flights to ensure awareness of upcoming flight schedule
•Delay or cancel flights as warranted
•Manage and update charter logs, flight and flight duty times, pilot availability reports, and inspection schedules
•Ensure compliance with aircraft reconfigurations and maintenance sign-offs
•Co-sign flight authorizations and complete charter advisories

Requirements
•Previous experience in a dispatching role or similar position preferred
•Analytical and organized, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Valid Air Operator Radio License considered an asset
•Transport Canada Flight Dispatch Generic Exams an asset
•Northern Experience an asset
•Must be willing to relocate to Yellowknife, NT
