The Passenger (Pax) Service Supervisor is the person who oversees the per-shift Passenger Service operations at Montreal, Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport (YUL). The Pax Supervisor YUL may also be required to assist with other operations in the Province of Quebec, including Quebec City, Bagotville, Val D’Or, and Sept Iles. This includes adherence to the Sunwing Ground Handling Manual (GHM), Security requirements, the overall treatment of traveling customers and the interaction with other airport community members. The position requires flexibility to work off-business hours and overtime, including holidays. This position will require on-call status during off hours and weekends.
Responsibilities
• Ensure that the handling partner is working in a productive and healthy environment.
• Coach, mentor, train and develop staff as required.
• Resolve customer complaints or answer customers' questions regarding policies and procedures
• Ensure the level of customer service provided meets or exceeds corporate standards
• Ensure standard SOP’s are followed and safety protocols are adhered to at all times
• Provide Training for new DCS Implementation
• Provide guidance on matters of Documentation requirements.
• Coordinate daily, weekly information to all affected Airport Agencies, as well as during irrops.
• Will, at times, be responsible for Ramp-related issues
• Ensure SMS compliance: to identify, investigate, analyze, prevent, verify compliance and communicate results of airport incidents.
• Support and work closely with OCC in situations as requested/required.
• Collaborate with and support other Sunwing departments with corporate policy.
• Produce and distribute On-Time Performance reports.
• May be required to participate/assist in issues pertaining to YQB, YVO, YZV, YBG as required.
• Prepare, maintain and update records, as required.
• Maintain confidentiality
• Projects as assigned.
Qualifications
• At least 3 years of Airport/Airline/Aviation related experience
• Strong customer service background
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, while ensuring safety is never compromised
• Leadership/People management skills
• Possess the ability to obtain an Airport Restricted Area Pass
• Willing to travel for work
