Management of the de-icing activities, according to Company standards and governmental regulations, in a safe and professional manner in collaboration with other Ops managers.
Description:
Main Responsibilities: • Manage operations related to de-icing, snow removal and maintenance; • Manage glycol inventories (reception, tests, delivery, disposal, mixing); • Participate in employee staffing activities, performance evaluations and employee coaching; • Follow-up on training activities and dispense training as necessary; • Ensure that performance and operational standards are adhered to; • Follow-up on maintenance of installations and equipment; • Produce various reports related to operations and environment; • Follow-up on incidents and accidents.
Special Requirements:
We are looking for an individual who has acquired de-icing experience.. In addition, the candidate must display teamwork and leadership, as well as consider health and safety as a top priority. Supervisory and training experience would be considered assets. Candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver’s licence, possess and/or obtain an Airside Vehicle Operators’ Permit (AVOP) and a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC). In addition, the incumbent must participate in an annual training program.
