PAY RATE:           $56,009 - $58,250 - $60,579 - $63,003
The Calgary Airport Authority is a not-for-profit non share capital corporation, responsible for the management, maintenance, operation and development of the Calgary International Airport and Springbank Airport under long-term leases from the Government of Canada is currently recruiting a full-time Parking Coordinator.

The Role
Reporting to General Manager, Ground Transportation and Parking (GT&P), the overall responsibility of this position is to administer and issue employee, contractor and all other parking permits in the parking office. The position is responsible for the following primary duties:
  • Administer the employee and tenant parking program at YYC.
  • Customer facing and is the parking representative for all airport employees, tenant and contractors for The Calgary Airport Authority.
  • Maintain all parking records and proxy access.
  • Execute month end accounting processes.
  • Request purchase orders and warehouse orders for signage, traffic supplies, bus parking, parking and office supplies.
  • Issue, track and register all contractor, special event & courier parking permits.
  • Ensure that all parking maps are up-to-date for parking customers.

Basic Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reflect a positive impression of the Authority to deliver on departmental initiatives.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new programs, specific to parking.
  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records in an environment with several interruptions.
  • Ability to work well in both a team and individual environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders.

Additional Requirements
  • Knowledge of the airport terminal and surrounding areas including roadways and parking lots would be an asset.
  • Ability to recognize deficiencies in order to develop and change policies and procedures accordingly.
