The Role

Coop Student Position Commencing January 2014, Eight to Twelve Month Term

What will you be doing?

Working as a part of our Corporate Communications and Marketing team, this role will cover a variety of communications and marketing aspects with a focus on graphic design. This role will tap into your creativity, enhance your professional portfolio and add value to your aspiring marketing career.

 What will your primary responsibilities be?

• Develop content and illustrations for corporate communications and marketing materials, posters and brochures.

• Plan and execute YYC Crew and Team YYC community events.
• Develop corporate PowerPoint presentations to reflect brand strategy.
• Execute tactical pieces of the internal communication strategy.
• Update contact lists for Communications department.
• Perform general reception duties when main reception coverage is required.
• General administrative tasks.

Basic Requirements

What will you bring to this role?

• Marketing, Graphic Design and Corporate Communications experience or background is an asset.
• Superior skills in grammar, spelling, punctuation and writing style.
• Strong knowledge of CP style.
• Experience with technical business writing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
