Our jet fleet consists of 17 aircraft: 1 Falcon 900EX, 1 Challenger 604, 2 Hawker 800A, 2 Gulfstream 150, 2 Lear 55, 4 Lear 45, 2 Lear 35; 1 Citation V Ultra (C560) and 2 Citation Sovereign (C680). We also have a fleet of 23 turboprop/piston aircraft including: 5 Beech 1900D, 4 Metro 23, 2 Metro II, 4 King Air B200, 1 King Air B350, 2 Cessna C208, 1 Cessna C208B, and 4 Piper Chieftain. Sunwest Aviation Ltd. currently has a new opportunity available for a Customer Service Agent/Baggage Attendant. This position provides support to Sunwest’s Flight Operations Department. Reporting to the Manager, Flight Attendants, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Deliver high quality service to customers
• Assist with boarding procedure
• Assist with passenger check-ins
• Assist with lobby clean up, set up and stocking as necessary
• Check and tag bags; sort according to aircraft and destinations
• Confirm with pilots prior to departure bag counts
• Physically able to move around luggage and other objects up to 50 lbs including pulling, pushing, walking, carrying and kneeling
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies. In addition, personality profiling will be required of all candidates granted an interview for this position.

• Completion of High School diploma
• Previous Customer Service experience is an asset
• Security background check to obtain an airport airside pass
• Positive “can-do” attitude
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to handle multiple tasks
• Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Sunwest’s Safety Management System manual
• This position considered a “safety/risk sensitive position, subject to pre-employment drug screening
