You are a dynamic and outgoing leader with an in-depth knowledge of environmental management and an interest in sustainability. With your visionary approach and sound business sense, you will guide and mentor a team of environmental professionals in developing, implementing and innovating environmental programs and initiatives to promote sustainability and corporate social responsibility at Vancouver International Airport (YVR).



A highly relational role, your advanced communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to develop and inspire a diverse team, and represent the department and its initiatives to senior executives, government and the public. With your excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, you will create strategic plans to guide the Airport Authority in achieving significant improvement in environmental performance, supporting organization-wide sustainability solutions.

Your solid experience successfully managing people and ideas in a complex, multifaceted organization is essential, as is your Bachelor’s Degree in environmental studies, science or a related field. The incumbent will have strong leadership skills for mentoring colleagues as well as for influencing peers to ensure support for all facets of the environmental program.
