LEVEL: IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CALDA COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT
AVAILABLE: IMMEDIATELY
CLOSING DATE: MARCH 9, 2014 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interested candidates must be able to perform, but not be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
• Crew briefing.
• Weather watch.
• Operational control.
• Flight planning.
• Flight watch.
• Other duties as assigned.



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:
• Possess a high school diploma
• Transport Canada Flight Dispatcher’s Certificate (Parts 1 & 2).
• Extensive knowledge of meteorology.
• Valid radiotelephone operator’s certificate.
• Knowledge of computer reservation system.
• Knowledge and understanding of Canadian aviation regulations.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to speak Inuktitut, or other Aboriginal language, an asset
• Ability to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
• Ability to obtain and retain a Controlled Goods Security Program Clearance regulated by Public Works/Controlled Goods Directorate.
