Currently Securiguard is accepting applications to join our Aviation Security Team at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Securiguard’s history in aviation security began in 1997 when Securiguard commenced a pioneering private security enforcement contract with the Vancouver Airport Authority. This process involved a major transition, with enforcement of Aviation Security passing from the RCMP to the private sector. Since this initial contract, our services have since expanded to include other airports and services in Western Canada.

The Ideal Candidate will possess the Following Skills/Requirements:

• Have excellent Customer Services Skills and enjoying working in the People Industry. 
• 2-3 Years Experience in the Security Industry
• Must have excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Must be physically fit to either Walk or Stand for a period of 8 hrs or longer.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate Securiguard's Core Values: REACH (Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy, and Honesty)
• Must have Open Availability & be able to work a minimum of 24 hrs a week.
• Candidate must be eligible to complete a RAIC Application and complete an Enhanced Criminal Record Check.

Certification Requirements:

• Valid BC Security License
• Clean Criminal Record Check
• AVSEC Training (Will Train)
• Customer Service Training (Will Train)
• Class 5 Drivers License &  Clean Drivers Abstract 
• High School Diploma
• Ability to Receive a RAIC Clearance
