Director of Operations - Town of High Level Organization: Town of High Level Director of Operations The Town of High Level is currently seeking a qualified, experienced person to fill the role of Director of Operations. The Director of Operations is responsible to ensure the provision of the public works and maintenance to all Town infrastructure and assets owned or leased, including the operations of the High Level Airport, under the direction of the CAO. The Town of High Level strives to improve their community’s quality of life by providing a safe sustainable environment through planning, communication and cooperation, both locally and regionally. High Level marks the northern extent of the Peace River Country and is surrounded to the north and west by muskey tundra. High Level promotes an active lifestyle, with options in the summer months of camping, canoeing, fishing, hiking and golfing and winter months include snowmobiling, cross country skiing and hunting. The diversified economy includes forestry, oil & gas, agriculture and tourism. This is a young, energetic family friendly community with 64% of the population under the age of 35. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate related work experience, preferably municipal and five years in a supervisory capacity. Preference will be given to those with a Certified Engineering Technologist designation.
