Van City Seaplanes, a Pitt Meadows BC based charter seaplane company is looking for seasonal (May-October) customer service personnel. The position entails booking flights for customers over the phone, answering telephone and email quires, maintaining contact with aircraft and pilots during flights, problem solving, and scheduling future flights.
Must have excellent communication skills, an interest in aviation, good technical skills on Mac computers, minimum 45wpm typing ability, ability to work unsupervised, good time management skills, well organized. Some additional helpful traits the successful candidate may have would include but not limited to good geographic knowledge of the BC Coast, good interpersonal skills, team player, quick thinker, adaptability to change.
Preference will be given to pilots with an interest in float flying and float planes, persons with previous airline experience, persons with customer service experience.
Must supply a criminal record report and and be able to supply multiple references.
