The
Calgary Airport Authority is a not-for-profit non share capital corporation,
responsible for the management, maintenance, operation and development of the
Calgary International Airport and Springbank Airport under long-term leases
from the Government of Canada
The
Role
Reporting
to Director, Operational Integration, the successful candidate will oversee and
coordinate the activation and integration of operational processes between the
existing airport terminal and the new international facility. This role will be
responsible for ensuring that operational changes, improvements, and
integration with new elements such as: Swing Gate, Call to Gate, Compact
Transit System and the requirements are defined, documented, communicated, and
successfully implemented.
Specific job responsibilities include:
§
Collaborate and consult with key stakeholders to
identify any requirements, processes, gaps, and solutions to meet the
operational needs.
§
Assist airport stakeholders to understand
operational process flows, plans, and procedures to ensure they have
maintenance, operations and staffing plans in place.
§
Develop project plans to track and communicate the
status of activities.
§
Develop operational trial scenarios to test and
confirm that the new processes and systems meet the requirements of the
Authority and stakeholders.
§
Maintain accurate documentation using departmental
templates, standards and related processes.
Basic
Requirements
§
Ability to plan, develop, implement, and deliver by
collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
§
Experience in preparing documentation, process
review, planning, and service implementation.
§
Excellent planning, organization, and
time-management skills with the ability to deal with multiple projects
simultaneously.
§
Excellent oral and written communication skills and
required and demonstrated strong attention to detail.
§
Ability to read design documents, familiarity with
written procedures, plans, standards, and other operational documentation would
be an asset.
§
Knowledge in the area of airport operations,
systems and management would be an asset.
