Title: Manager - Operations Support Team (OST)
Reports to: Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the smooth daily operation of the Operations Support Team, including:
o Flight following
o IROP recovery including communications with internal/external customers
o Manage Communication Flow
o Liaise with crew/dispatch/customers during flight
o Manage aircraft assignments in conjunction with Sales and MCC
o Communicate weekly flight schedule to stakeholders
o Passenger loads
o Monitor weather
o Ensure all landing and overflight permits are in place
o Ensure all flight paperwork has been accurately entered into software system including de-icing and passenger numbers
o Ensure all permits and other documentation have been arranged for aircraft importation
• Liaise with Operations Manager and Director of Inflight on crew planning and hiring strategies to support operational requirements
• Ensure crew schedules are compliant with CARS regulations
• Monitor OTP and follow up with respective OCC groups and other departments as required
• Maintain OST schedule, payroll and staff records
• Manage a team of Operations professionals and provide guidance and feedback as required

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Clean criminal record
• Thorough understanding of CARS regulations including a thorough understanding of flight duty times
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs, specifically Word and Excel
• Previous experience with airline scheduling software (currently AvAIO)
• Ability to obtain and hold a Transport Canada RAIC
• Previous Operations Support experience

Hourly Rate/Salary Range $64,480.00 - $79,040.00
