The Saskatoon Airport Authority (SAA) operates the John G. Diefenbaker International Airport (YXE), Saskatchewan's busiest airport welcoming approximately 1.4M passengers annually at growth rates of over 6% year to date. Currently in Phase II of a $53M Air Terminal Building expansion, it is an exciting time in SAAs history as we grow our operations to accommodate strong and sustainable demand for air travel in the Saskatchewan market.
Reporting to the Vice President Operational Excellence, the Manager Facilities has responsibility for the functional airfield and air terminal facility operations. Including inspections, audits, maintenance and core systems reliability for the facilities, airfield and groundside operations. Environment, wildlife management, and staff responsibilities related to emergency incidents. Airport planning, research and technical support, technical data management, capital project input and delivery, safety and security of the airport, and regulatory compliance of the Corporation.
Ideal candidates will have post-secondary education in business management, airport management, engineering or another related educational program. A minimum of 5 years of experience in airport facilities maintenance and operations, complemented by experience working with all the regulations pertaining to airport, aviation and related agency operations, as well as previous supervisory experience.
