Sunwing Travel is currently recruiting a Flight Operations Publications Coordinator in Toronto
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring that safety is the primary objective by adhering to the Sunwing safety policy and utilizing the appropriate safety reporting program in order to identify and communicate all known hazards and risks to the organization.
• Ensuring continual improvement through the periodic review of documented policies, processes and procedures;
• Assisting with the authoring, formatting and monitoring of Flight Operations manuals and publications through close liaison with the Flight Operations Managers;
• Assisting with the quality control of technical content in documents and initiation of the subsequent distribution process;
• Assisting the Manager, Publications & Administration with the monitoring and implementation of changes & revisions to Transport Canada approved documents and ensure the accuracy & quality of printed output prior to distribution;
• Coordinate with the Senior Librarian with regard to publication distribution and priority;
• Assisting in the development, documentation, analysis and improvement of departmental processes.
• Assisting in the publication of department bulletins/memos/temporary revisions.
• Assisting with other department administrative tasks, including attending and taking meeting minutes where required
• Other duties as specified by the V.P. Flight Operations, Director, Flight Operations and/or Manager, Publications & Administration.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point)
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
