POSITION: Passenger Support Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Flight Operations
LOCATION: Toronto, ON
REPORTING TO: Manager, Operations Control
CLOSING DATE: August 15, 2014
A Passenger Support Coordinator will be required to assist the Duty Manager in the day to day running of the Operations Control Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Duty Manager with recovery of flight schedules during Irregular Operation (IROP) situations.
- Liaising with Company departments and outstations (Handlers and tour operators) with recovery of flight schedules during Irregular Operation (IROP) situations.
- Issue vouchers for delayed and distressed passengers.
- Communicate companywide tail-swaps, cancellations and delays etc.
- Initiating the Emergency Response Plan when required.
- Assisting with the preparation of the daily Trip Folders and Post Flight Duties
- Ensure that the “Fleet Watch” system is both current and accurate
- Ensure that all expenses are accounted for within OCC
- Transport all Sunwing crews to/from Toronto Airport to/from Head Office, or in some cases to their rest facility as needed.
- Must be able to get Ontario Driver’s license class “F” within the first six (6) months of employment.
- Performing any additional duties as assigned by the MOC or Duty Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Clear understanding of operational excellence, quality, health and safety, technical issues and On-Time Performance.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with a high attention to detail.
- Strong people management skills.
- Must meet Transport Canada age requirements.
- Work experience in an Airline Operations Center is an asset.
- Must be able to work shift work.
- Must have a valid “G” class Ontario driver’s license
- “F” class Ontario driver’s license
