Temporary Cabin Crew Base Executive, Vancouver (Please note that this is a temporary position for approximately 16 months. Start date and duration may change based on operational need.) Our Vancouver Cabin Crew Base is recruiting an exceptional individual for a temporary role with our In-flight services team in Vancouver. This supervisory position will be based in our Cabin Crew Base Office at the Vancouver Airport. Flexible and irregular shifts, including nights and weekends, are an integral part of this position. Reporting to the Cabin Crew Base Manager, Canada, the Cabin Crew Base Executive will be responsible for the following: Key Responsibilities: Operational functions, including pre flight planning. Administration for the base. Respond to or direct crew inquiries. Performance and Attendance management of cabin crew. Facilitate return to work arrangements. Ensure clear communication with crew and other departments. Other projects as assigned. Specific Knowledge, Skills, Training & Experience Required: Must have supervisory or management experience, preferably within the Airline industry Experience supervising within a Canadian unionized environment. Knowledge and sound understanding of the Canada Labor Code. Previous experience as cabin crew is considered an asset. High level of competency in computer skills including MS Office Exceptional communication skills with high proficiency in English; Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese would be considered an asset. Flexibility and willingness to take extra responsibilities Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills. Proven excellent time management, administration and organization skills. Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays. Right to live and work in Canada.
