Technical Records Clerk
Cougar Helicopters Inc. - St. John's, NL
Cougar Helicopters Inc. presently has an opportunity for a one year maternity leave replacement Technical Records Clerk for Cougar’s St. John’s base. The Technical Records Clerk is responsible to the Quality Manager through the Technical Records Manager to ensure all records are correct, appropriately stored and have a high standard of quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain technical record files, both paper and computer, for aircraft operated and maintained by the company as required by the Canadian Aviation Regulations.
  • Maintain both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work spec sheets as well as monitor and enter airframe time entries, defect entries, and maintenance entries, calibrated tool use along with any associated release notes, Component Log Cards and Maintenance Release Tags
  • Enter defects into data base reliability module
  • Enter and maintain component service lives along with overhaul information along with install and removal information of components in the database reflecting maintenance activities completed
  • Update the database reflecting any changes to the Airworthiness limitations associated with the aircraft or its components
  • Complete any Power by Hour and removal reports as required by vendor. File and forward reports as required
  • Maintain and archive completed log book files with associated tags, task cards/work spec’s
  • Produce aircraft maintenance forecast (due lists) from data base
  • Ensure forecasting and posting of scheduled maintenance requirements as well as to ensure that all required workspecs, task cards or log card documentation is provided to the maintenance staff
  • Notify the appropriate individuals of any aircraft record entry errors
  • Ensure all documents are completed correctly prior to scanned and filing to the Laserfiche repository
  • Responsible for issuing and posting aircraft due lists to Laserfiche
  • Responsible for the updating and coordinating the Maintenance group work schedule
  • Responsible for administrating Airport security passes
  • Other duties assigned by the Technical Records Supervisor or Maintenance Quality Assurance Manager
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary certificate in Records management or office administration is required
  • Must live in St. John’s/surrounding area
  • Must have a clean code of conduct
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong administration and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize work
