One of our prominent clients is currently seeking a full-time Personal Valet and Flight Attendant to be responsible for the management of their personal assets, including private aircraft and homes. Reporting to the Client’s Operations Manager, this role will consist of a live-in position when the Client is based at their residence in Ontario, which is approximately six months a year. The individual may be required to travel on North American flights which will include trips to New York, Florida, Caribbean and any internal Canadian flights for business purposes. The individual may also be required to travel to the UK during the summer months. They will liaise with Skyservice to ensure client expectations are continuously being met.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
When traveling and when based at the residences in Ontario, the incumbent’s key tasks will include but are not limited to:
Personal Valet:
• Manage the day-to-day organization of the residence and property of the Client in order to maintain standards and efficiency;
• Provide ‘silver service’ table service;
• Working with existing staff for organizing and scheduling of special and seasonal projects;
• Care of clothing, footwear, and linens, wardrobe organization, preparation of clothes as well as packing and unpacking when traveling, purchase and inventory management of household goods (i.e. clothing, accessories, jewelry, home supplies, etc.), housekeeping tasks, hospitality services, flower arranging, and administrating household expenses.
Flight Attendant:
• Responsible for all aspects of pre-flight preparation, in-flight service, and post-flight support (including but not limited to : stocking, catering, grooming and cabin readiness, provide passenger(s) support during the trip, shopping and catering for subsequent legs, manage on-board audio-visual systems, etc.) in order to ensure the delivery of exceptional flight service to the Client;
• Responsible for all aspects of first-class service to elite passengers, including food preparation and presentation;
• Responsible, along with the aircraft’s flight crew, for the safety of all passengers on board from take-off to landing;
• Handling special requests as well as any other related duties as assigned in accordance with the Company Operations Manual, Flight Attendant Manual and the Client’s requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Flight Attendant background experience considered an asset;
• Knowledge of international customer service standards, etiquette, and protocol is an asset;
• Must have a valid passport to travel internationally as well as a valid driver’s license;
• Intermediate technological skills;
• Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills;
• Strong customer service and organizational skills;
• Highly detail oriented;
• Self-initiative and ability to work under pressure;
• ‘Get it done’ attitude, very ‘hands-on’ and ready to take on new tasks as required;
• Dynamic and professional demeanor;
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high level of integrity and confidentiality towards sensitive information;
• Ability to thrive both independently and as a member of a team;
• Flexible and available to accommodate client travel pattern and needs, even on short notice.
