Reports to: Team Services Manager
Purpose:
To provide a World Class Guest Experience by ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate delivery of our guest’s baggage and cargo over the busy Summer season.
Job Description:
- Accurately sort guest baggage by flight number and destination in the bagroom
- Assisting with guest fragile pickups
- Assisting with moving our guests luggage to the baggage belts
- Assist in the offload of guest luggage to the baggage carousels
- Work safely in a fast-paced, team-oriented, industrial environment
- Display a commitment to WestJet’s Mission, Vision, and Values
- Display a commitment to TAC’s record of safe on-time performance
Qualifications:
• A positive and passionate personality, with the natural ability to communicate with people.
• 1 year of customer service experience is an asset.
• Experience in working under stressful & busy situations.
• Excellent ability to work in a heavy team based environment
• Able to obtain an Airport Restricted Area Pass issued by Transport Canada.
• Able to pass a criminal background check
- Must have a valid Driver’s license.
- Able to lift 70 lbs repetitively (and be able to pass a functional lifting exam)
- Flexible to work shift work within the 7days of the week – early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays. Be available to work approximately 24 hours per week.
- Proven customer service skills, with 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to deal with stressful situations and perform steadily under pressure.
- Must be able to work anytime within a 24/7 operational schedule
