Ornge is currently recruiting a 
Coordinator, Flight Operations Compliance & Logistics

POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Ornge Air Operations Team, the position is responsible for assuring and coordinating compliance with all aspects of Rotary Wing flight crew training. Including, but not limited to: vendor compliance, training validation and curriculum validation. Coordinates and assures all flight operations training is properly recorded, updated, tracked and corroborated with automated crew scheduling software. Responsible to maintain confidentiality of all sensitive or proprietary information and perform other related work as required or assigned. 


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor and validate vendor process control; 
• Interact and liaise with internal and external providers to ensure Company Operations and regulatory compliance;
• Establish clear and meaningful criteria and standards; 
• Ensure attendance and all training is properly recorded, updated, tracked and corroborated with automated crew scheduling software; 
• Participate in training related internal and external audits;
• Coordinate corrective and preventive action(s); 
• Assist in the preparation and amendment of the training requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
• Practical experience in pilot instruction, mentoring and / or synthetic training devices; 
• Prior flight scheduling experience an asset; 
• Experience in flight operation training requirements – Transport Canada; CARS & CASS;
• Prior Flight crew training records experience
• Strong attention to high-quality and detail with strong organizational and project management skills;
• Excellent investigative and troubleshooting ability;
• Excellent in effective verbal and written communication;
• Exert a positive influence on the organizational climate;
• Excellent negotiation skills;
• Self motivated, able to manage deadlines effectively.
