Employee Services Manager

Pacific Coastal Airlines has an exciting opportunity in the role of Manager, Employee Services at Richmond’s South Terminal Airport. The Manager, Employee Services is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the operations of Human Resources and Benefits in the Company.
To succeed, candidates must have strong technical skills related to Human Resources practices as well as computer software. They must be comfortable balancing multiple priorities to ensure they fit the Company’s business needs, while continuing to engage, empower and inspire the employee group as a whole.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Post-Secondary Degree in a field related to Human Resources Management, such as Business Administration, Commerce, Industrial Relations or Psychology
  • CHRP designation (or Candidate) preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of Leadership experience in an organization of similar size and scope
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality & build trust at all levels of the organization
  • Experience using computer software to serve Management & Employee information needs, including intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Microsoft Dynamics GP an asset)
  • Broad experience with Human Resources & Benefits Policies and Procedures, preferably in a Federally Regulated environment (Employment Equity experience a significant asset)
  • Experienced in a wide variety of recruitment practices
Duties
  • Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with current regulations, standards and policies
  • Support the overall development of dynamic and cohesive teams throughout the organization in line with the Company’s vision and values (includes Recruitment, Orientation, Performance Management and Metrics)
  • Oversee and administer all aspects of the Company Benefit Program, ensuring its cost-effectiveness and value to employees
