Avmax has an immediate opening for a Receptionist within Avmax Avionics division.
Reporting to the Avmax Avionics Administrative Assistant specific duties include-
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Receive visitors, ensure they are checked in, issued a visitor badge.
• Contact the appropriate escort and ensure visitor orientation is given.
• Answer telephone calls in a courteous and efficient manner and redirect all calls to the appropriate person or department.
• Take responsibility for incoming and outgoing mail (opening, sorting and distributing).
• Disseminate and circulate information relevant to members of staff. Partner organizations and other related persons and groups.
• Order and put away stationary and office supplies promptly to maintain a clean and clear working environment.
• Fill paper in fax and copy machines.
• Entry of time cards, prior to the end of the month, into Quantum.
• Verification (on payroll weeks) that, hours in Quantum match timecards so employees are paid accordingly.
• File information and create letters for Management, as requested.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Avmax Avionics and the Avmax Avionics Administrative Assistant.
Qualifications:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills.
• Shows integrity, ingenuity and assertiveness in the performance of tasks.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office essential and Quantum (an asset).
Experience:
• Minimum 12 months’ experience performing Reception duties.
