Skills and Qualifications Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:
- 4 year university degree with a focus on marketing or business administration preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience in each of the following desirable; schedule planning, financial analysis, operations control and CRS host system experience (SABRE) preferred.
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to develop and analyze conventional and unconventional solutions to problems. Ability to think "outside of the box".
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines with high work load.
- Possess a strong understanding of the Company markets.
- Excellent product knowledge in all areas of Company operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business sector.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in full MS Office Suite. Sabre & AIMS experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
Duties and Responsibilities Interested candidates should be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Build a work culture such that maximizing revenue and optimizing capacity are key to driving efficiency.
- Responsible for the short to medium term planning of the regular operating schedule, plus allocation of adhoc flying (charter/freighters).
- Analyze and optimize route capacity vs. demand and develop methodologies to forecast passengers and cargo volume.
- Research route performance results and identify initiatives to reduce operating costs and increase profitability (e.g. cost reductions, increased efficiency, new market trends, route opportunities).
- Responsible for the CRS host system programming of: schedules, seat maps, reference information, connection and post departure information.
- Coordinate fleet plan requirements with other departments.
- Manage and increase functionality usage of AIMS operating system from a network planning perspective.
- Participate in the monthly scheduling and fleet planning meeting with other departments.
- Participate in monthly revenue review meeting with other departments.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual scheduled O&D revenue budget, fleet plan and aircraft hours budget.
- An active member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Other duties as assigned.
