One Week Until McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport Grand Opening

YVR is one week away from the grand opening of the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport on Thursday, July 9! 

We anticipate an increase in vehicle traffic to Sea Island during the first several weekends of operation (Thursdays to Sundays, during store hours), and have a comprehensive transportation plan is in place. The plan includes alternate routes, additional parking locations and the use of shuttles to minimize operational impact and maintain the safety of everyone on Sea Island.

Tips for BCIT Aerospace faculty, employees and students:

 •       Anticipate extra congestion on our main roadways (including Russ Baker Way) and leave extra time to get to and from the campus - particularly during peak weekend days.

 •       Please observe posted signage and follow instructions of traffic management personnel if driving on Sea Island.

•       We encourage shoppers to consider taking Canada Line to the Designer Outlet Centre, as parking will be very limited. The Designer Outlet Centre is a four-minute walk from Canada Line Templeton Station.

Designer Outlet Centre Hours of Operation:

·         Monday – Saturday: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

·         Sunday: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
