SUMMARY: Answer in-coming calls in a courteous manner to assist customers with their travel service requirements and needs by entering data into the computer database. Meet clients at designated arrival and/or departure area to ensure their travel arrangements are handled as scheduled. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Responsible for answering inbound calls in a timely and professional manner. - Must be knowledgeable and explain all services offered. - Enter customer billing information, process accurate and timely orders into computer system. - Resolve issues or problems in a timely professional manner. - Process schedule changes / cancellations and handle customer complaints. - Plan to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work. - Identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events. - Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. - Competence to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions. - Familiarity of administrative and systems such as word processing, managing files and records. - Assist manager with the start up duties as requested. - Handle other duties as needed by the Manager. Requirements Exigences MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Must be at least 18 years for age. - Must be able to obtain security clearance with a Transport Canada background verification of - -- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. - Must be able to lift up to 32 kgs. BACKGROUND QUALIFICATIONS: - Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Must have a minimum of two years customer service experience or relevant job experience. - Computer skills are required. - Preferred knowledge or understanding of airline industry and/or Vancouver International Airport. - Must present a professional businesslike image, have a high work ethic and commitment to excellence. - Must be able to stand, lift, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
