Services now include frequent flights connecting downtown Vancouver, downtown Victoria, Nanaimo, Richmond (YVR), Sechelt, Comox, the Gulf Islands and Whistler along with a wide selection of scenic adventure tours, private charters, freight services and aircraft maintenance.

We are currently recruiting for a Dock Operations Supervisor to join our Richmond based team. The Dock Operations Supervisor ensures that the Dock Operations team follows all safety standards and procedures.



RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Always display professionalism in actions and in communications (including communication over the radio)
•Work with management in the training and development of new team members
•Assist with monthly scheduling of Dock Operations Crew (DOC)
•Take initiative in giving direction and setting the pace for crew; stay later when necessary to complete priority tasks
•Work in conjunction with management in achieving department and company objectives
•Assist in the day-to-day Dock Operations Crew duties including, but not limited to, de-icing, loading and unloading fuelling, and tying up aircraft. 
•Prioritize daily tasks, including aircraft washing and breaks for DOC
•Communicate relevant information of the day’s events to the next day’s crew, (or where applicable, to other Dock Operations Supervisors’ at your base)

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Safety First – personally and as a team, committed to safety
•Able to multi-task and prioritize assignments
•Previous management or supervisor experience
•Good interpersonal skills and able to work with a wide range of personalities
•Flexible, team-oriented, and reliable 
•Proven ability to motivate self as well as others
•Aviation and/or marina experience is an asset
•Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
•Ability to lift heavy baggage (75 lb) and perform other active tasks
•The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills and work well in a team environment
