Reporting to the Senior Manager, Revenue & Business Development, Parking, this position is responsible for the administration of the parking business development program including sales and marketing initiatives to deliver on our corporate revenue and passenger experience objectives. A computer software competency test and business writing assessment may be administered as part of this competitive process for the above list of knowledge, skills and abilities required for this job.
Job Description
- Serve as primary contact in client service role for prospects and existing clients
- Coordinate and host tours and visits with prospects and clients
- Prepare and participate in client meetings with corporate accounts
- Coordinate, develop and distribute sales and marketing materials through business-to-business and out-of-home channels
- Prepare, coordinate and finalize client contract agreements with Legal
- Coordinate all go-to-market activities in conjunction with Stakeholder Relations and Communications team and the Program Management group (e.g., Information Technology Management department)
- Track sales pipeline and report on prospect and client activities
- Participate at networking events to promote Toronto Pearson’s Parking business programs to travel-trade industry
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders including Parking Operations, ITM and our parking operator business partner, Vinci Park, to ensure alignment on all sales initiatives
- Coordinate and participate in all Pre Production Center sessions to facilitate rollout of IT related parking initiatives
- Support and track revenue forecasts, O&M budget, client performance and monthly variance analyses
Job Requirements Qualifications
- High school diploma is mandatory and university degree in business, commercial property management, marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum three (3) year Revenue Management Industry experience or similar industry related experience preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of experience at an airport environment
- Minimum one (1) year experience in sales and/or marketing preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience overseeing the work of consultants and contractors
- Combination of education and experience will also be considered
- Must have a fully satisfactory work performance in his/her current position and a work record that is void of discipline and unacceptable attendance that would have a bearing on the duties, roles and responsibilities of the posted position
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to manage and implement programs that yield positive growth
- Ability to build sales and marketing initiatives that deliver on program objectives
- Knowledge of commercial contracts and agreements
- Sound knowledge of computer software application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
- Knowledge of commercial parking industry and GTAA policies, procedures and practices relating to parking revenue generation would be considered an asset
- Ability to analyze revenue, pricing information and related operations data to develop programs, negotiate contracts & anticipate issues
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and facilitation skills in order to maintain and build stakeholder relationships including GTAA business units
- Advanced business writing skills to issue recommendations & reports
- Ability to apply diplomacy in conflict scenarios
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
- Early adopter of sales and marketing trends preferred
