SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years post secondary education in related field of study
- 2 years previous experience with inventory distribution/control, inflight service and/or business management
- Familiarity with purchasing, sanitation procedures and health standards for food and beverage equipment
- Excellent computer skills, specifically advanced Excel functions, are required
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Proven customer service skills
- Must have solid organizational skills, decision making and prioritizing skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills required
- Superior and proven interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external customers
- Bilingual in English/French considered an asset
- Ability to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Interested candidates should be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure day-to-day commissary, catering and inflight sales requirements are met at all stations through accurate ordering, inventory control and distribution
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Senior Manager Sales & Product Development
- Coordinate and administer the Buy on Board program including reports, analysis, inventory control (ordering & distribution)
- Conduct detailed analysis and reporting for: inventory, sales, utilization, cost, etc.
- Administer departmental purchases including the coordination of all liquor orders and distribution to caterers and stations, as required
- Maintain inventory of all catering and commissary equipment and repair/replacement
- Oversee and coordinate the movement of equipment to meet operational needs
- Review all invoices with respect to commissary and catering
- Ensure supplier prices and services are established and comply with approved contracts terms
- Assist in building a work culture such that costs, quality assurance and customer satisfaction are key areas to drive efficiency
- Perform flight audits to assess onboard catering and commissary quality and to identify areas for improvement
- Assist with audits on catering vendors to ensure HACCP compliant and all other regulations
- Review Inflight reports to investigate, provide solutions and respond to observations made by flight crew
- Other duties as assigned.
