The Greater Moncton International Airport (GMIA) is seeking a Bilingual Administrative Assistant. Are you detail oriented, have superior organizational skills, and a strong ability to multi task efficiently? Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth operations and appearance of the reception and general office functionality. 

Key responsibilities include: 
  • Professional and welcoming first contact to guests, tenants, vendors and staff in person and on the phone
  • Provide timely and accurate office support to management and their staff
  • Coordinate, schedule, participate in and record minutes to monthly meetings
  • Provide assistance with typing, document distribution and database entry
  • Provide assistance to staff and general public in booking meeting rooms, coordinate catering
  • Ensure office records are regularly maintained
  • Ensure office equipment and stationery supplies are well maintained
  • Receive and dispatch courier, and distribute mail
  • Other duties as needed
Key qualifications include: 
  • A minimum of two to three (2-3) years specialized post-secondary administrative diploma
  • Five (5) years experience as an Administrative Assistant to a senior leadership team
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and process improvements
  • Excellent understanding and practice of time management and keen ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and in a dynamic team environment
  • Self-motivated, friendly, approachable
