Dispatcher Specific Skills Receive requests for emergency assistance or service; Operate computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment; Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders; Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations; Communicate with ships, aircraft and other remote operations . Experience Experience an asset . Business Equipment and Computer Applications Word processing software; Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment; Internet; Electronic scheduler; Electronic mail; Dispatch management service software; Monitoring and tracking software; Mapping and data visualization software . Additional Skills Maintain work records and logs; Perform general office duties; Provide customer service . Work Setting Transportation . Security and Safety Airport security clearance .
