Congratulations to Ellie on earning the Lieutenant Governors Award for BCIT. This prestigious award is presented annually at graduation to a student who achieves a high academic standing in the program and has contributed in a positive way to the life of the Institute or the community at large.
Ellie was also awarded the Dean's Graduating Award. This award is presented to students who have demonstrated a positive attitude, leadership and/or effective team behaviour and participation in BCIT and community activities, as well as outstanding academic achievement.
Both these awards were presented on June 22 - Congratulations Ellie! Photos from these two events will be available at flickr.com/bcit within the next couple of days.
But Ellie has more good news. Shortly after graduation, Ellie was hired with Marquis at the Vancouver International Airport, and she has recently been promoted to the Operations Centre Agent (OCA) position in the Operations Centre!
