An opportunity is available for a Baggage Operations Agent to work in our Airport Baggage Operations Centre (BOC) located at the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Reporting to the Team Lead and the Contract Manager you will ensure the airport baggage system is functioning efficiently and capable of handling peak level of demand. This individual will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and support Bouygues Core Values. They will support a team of baggage service professionals that will provide safe and reliable services to our client, internal customers and airport stakeholders. They will play a vital role monitoring and maintaining the baggage systems, handle any deficiencies that may occur, carry out policies while achieving corporate objectives. Our professionals serving as a Baggage Operations Agent will be skilled professionals that will exhibit a positive persona inside and outside work. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily inspection of the system hardware to include light maintenance, cleaning and observing/recording/escalation of degraded issues or maintenance requirements. You will work closely with your Team Lead and the Airport Duty Manager, ensuring our client and customers needs are met. You will monitor and enforce airport polices that relates to vehicle parking and movements in/around the baggage operation center. With assistance from the Team Lead and the Airport Duty Manager you will coordinate onsite maintenance, you will support the team during degraded, contingency or irregular operations. This facility is a 24/7 operation and one must be available to work all rotating shifts. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a High school diploma and a valid drivers license. Demonstrated organizational, communication and problem solving skills. Capable of working under periods of stress during emergencies and high density workloads. You must be able to lift heavy baggage and possess excellent mult-tasking skills and are proficient in all Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
