The Fredericton International Airport Authority (FIAA) is looking to employ a student for the summer in the position of Airport Operations Assistant. The position is Monday to Friday 07:30 – 1600 for 40 hours per week. The term is for 8 weeks.
Skill sets required for the Position are:
- Operate power mowers and cutters to cut lawns and grass.
- General labour for ground maintenance and construction work.
- Sweep debris from streets, sidewalks, building grounds and other areas, and load debris into carts or trucks, working as member of crew.
- Move tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas.
- Assist in maintaining industrial machinery and equipment.
- Clean and maintain personal protective equipment and working area.
- Assist with re-painting Airfield and Groundside Pavement markings.
